What I am working on in this first week of the new year.  'Wishing Well' 16"x12" oil. 

     Initial blocking-in, mapping out darkest darks.    

           

Working out the patterns of light and shade, balance of warm and cool colours.

Getting there but still much to do.  Will post the completed painting, hopefully soon.
