Le Cafe

'Le Cafe' 6" x 6" oil DHaist

'Le Cafe' was painted with a limited palette of four colours plus white - Cadmium Red Light, Cadmium Yellow Light, Van Dyke Brown, Thalo Green and Titanium White. It was a bit challenging keeping the Thalo Green tamed down, but the addition of a dot of red brought it into line, except in the sky, where I wanted a clean transparent feel.
