Picking Blueberries

This little painting is on its way to Moss, Norway for a charity exhibition to benefit a women and children's crisis center. This is a project spearheaded by Swedish artist David Sandum who has gathered together artists from all over the world, mostly on twitter.  It is called the #twitterartexhibit.  I was happy to be invited.

The subject of this painting is very common on the mountainsides of Alaska in the fall months. Wild blueberries line the hills and it doesn't take long to fill a bucket.
